Two More March Festivals in Richmond, Glen Allen, VA

If you live in an apartment in Glen Allen, VA there are still a few March festivals coming up. The Virginia Horse Festival and Support Virginia Green Oyster Roast at Tredegar are two of them. Celebrate the birthplace of Secretariat with the Virginia Horse Festival at Meadow Event Park. Included visits with Secretariat descendants, tram tours of the farm and more. Friday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 50 horses whose bloodlines go back to Secretariat or other Meadow Farm champions parade before adoring horse enthusiasts at the event.
