In the Lowcountry, a research website called Niche, listed three towns in Beaufort County as the best towns in South Carolina to raise a family. Bluffton came in at number three, Port Royal at four, and the City of Beaufort was number six. The site uses data like school ratings, crime rates, and affordable housing to come up with the rankings.
