Charleston, SC Flood Warning Extended, Road Closures

Because of unusual high tide Tuesday morning, police are asking motorists to exercise caution and avoid flooded streets and roads. We want the residents in our homes and apartments in Ladson, SC to remain safe. According to DHEC, the highest king tide hit at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday and will rise again in about 12 hours. City of Charleston emergency officials asked travelers to delay coming onto the peninsula if possible.
